I think you are the BEST advocate for your children, ever.
You're too smart for your own good and sometimes expect other people to be that smart (we've had this conversation before), but the rest of us are really a little dim-witted (or is it just me), so teach us!

yes we need to EDUCATE. The more the better.

That was just an awesome post! It really makes me want to get active in advocating for special needs children as well, even though I'm not a parent or sibling or aunt or anything. I am a friend, though. Now I just need to find the best way to be there.
