I woke up to comfort Jack at 4 AM and I had this idea.

What if we spent this week just being nice to each other? There is so much ugliness in the world. People have lost jobs, lost family members, lost hope.

What if we just simply made a friend? Got closer with an old pal? Made a new friend, even!

Here’s what we’re going to do:
I’ve set up a Mcklinky down below to help us out. Whoever is the first person will be my Secret Santa. That will mean that for the rest of the week you can Twitter with me or leave a comment on my blog or email me—just getting to know me a little bit better. The second person will do the same to the first, and so on…

We are a community. All of us. Let’s get to know each other a bit better, and encourage each other to get through until Christmas (without setting our hair on fire!).

It just seems like a good week to do something fun to lift each other up.
